is there any really quick and easy way to convert my mp3s to .ogg files without losing the id3 tags and stuff?

this whole software patent thing and it being a bitch to play mp3 files in SuSE is really pissing me off and I just realized how cool .ogg compression is instead cause i ripped a cd into ogg and it: 1) ripped really fast, it took like 3 or 4 minutes to rip a whole album and its also open source which makes it nice and easily compatible with everything... even in windows and on my ipod and stuff 2) Plus, it compressed the whole album to like 55 MB which is hella smaller than mp3s.. maybe i just compressed it at a really low quality and didnt realize it.

does anyone know of a good program for converting mp3 to ogg-Vorbis which can be run really quickly and easily and possibly view/edit id3 tags at the same time so that i can run it everytime I download a new mp3? The best would be a program that works in Windows and Linux but if just one, linux is my preferred OS.

My immediate thought is mp32ogg. I've never actually used it, though.
